賓語從句（一）
在句子中起到賓語作用的從句叫做賓語從句。賓語從句是名詞性從句的一種，在主從復(fù)合句中充當(dāng)賓語，一般位于及物動詞、介詞或復(fù)合謂語之后。賓語從句一般分為三類：動詞的賓語從句，介詞的賓語從句和形容詞的賓語從句。學(xué)好賓語從句，首先掌握以下兩個要點。
一、 that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句（在非正式場合that可以省略）that在從句中沒有實在意思，只起到連接作用。
She said (that) she was too busy to go to your concert. 她說她太忙了而不能參加你的音樂會。
No one told Jack (that) there would be a class meeting the next day. 沒有人告訴杰克第二天有班會。
Little Tom was afraid (that) he couldn’t pass the exam. 小湯米擔(dān)心這次考試不及格。
【拓展1】可跟that從句做賓語的動詞有：say, think,wish, hope, imagine, wonder, know, believe, agree, explain, feel,suggest, hear, mean, notice等。
【拓展2】當(dāng)主句謂語動詞是 think, believe, suppose,expect 等詞，而賓語從句的意思是否定時，常把否定轉(zhuǎn)移至主句表示。
I don’t think (that) he can give a speech at the meeting. 我認(rèn)為他不會在會上發(fā)言的。
二、 賓語從句的時態(tài)
1.主句是一般現(xiàn)在時，從句根據(jù)實際情況使用任何時態(tài)。
The worker says (that) he works from Monday to Friday.那名工人說他從周一至周五上班。(從句是一般現(xiàn)在時）
John says (that) he will leave a message on his desk. 約翰說要在他桌子上留個便條。（從句是一般將來時）
2.主句是過去時態(tài)，從句須用過去時態(tài)的某種形式。
He told me that he didn’t go to the library yesterday. 他告訴我他昨天沒去圖書館。（從句是一般過去時）
He said (that) he was playing football at that time. 他說他那時在踢足球。（從句是過去進(jìn)行時）
3.當(dāng)賓語從句表示的是一個客觀真理或者事實時，即使主句是過去時，從句也用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)。
The teacher told us (that) nothing is difficult if we put our hearts into it. 老師告訴我們世上無難事,只怕有心人。
賓語從句(二)
if或whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句用法由連接詞if或whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句，實際上是一般疑問句演變而來的，意思是是否。且if或whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句要用陳述句語序。
一般說來，在賓語從句中whether與if可以互換使用。
I wonder whether /if they will help me with my English.我想知道他是否幫助我學(xué)英語。
I’m not sure whether/ if I m I’ll have time to visit the museum.我很難說我們是否有時間參觀博物館。
但是下列情況下，if與whether不能互換使用。
1. 在介詞后面只能用whether，不能用if。
It depends on whether he is ready. 這件事要看他是否有準(zhǔn)備。
I’m not interested in whether you’ll come or not. 你來不來我不感興趣。
2. 在動詞不定式之前，只能用whether，不能用if。
We decided whether to go for apicnic. 我們決定是否去吃野餐。
3. 在動詞discuss后的賓語從句中，只能用whether，不能用if。
We discussed whether we should make a trip plan. 我們討論了是不是要制定旅游計劃。
4. 直接與or not連用時用whether，不能用if。
I can’t say whether or not they can arrive in Beijing on time. 我不能說他們是否能準(zhǔn)時到達(dá)北京。
【拓展】只能用if不能用whether的情況if引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句，意為如果。
They’ll go on a picnic if it doesn’t rain tomorrow. 如果明天不下雨，他們將去野餐。
even if相當(dāng)于even though，引導(dǎo)狀語從句時，意為盡管；as if引導(dǎo)狀語從句時，意為好像。
Even if it’s dark, the farmers are still working in the field.盡管天晚了，農(nóng)民們還在田野里勞動。
賓語從句（三）
特殊疑問句引導(dǎo)賓語從句的五要素
要素一： 在引導(dǎo)詞上，要將疑問代詞who/ whose/what/ which或疑問副詞when/ where / why/ how變?yōu)檫B接代詞或連接副詞，來引導(dǎo)賓語從句。如：
Whose bike is this? Can you tell me?
→ Can you tell me whose bike this is?
你能告訴我這是誰的自行車嗎？
要素二： 賓語從句的時態(tài)應(yīng)與主句的時態(tài)保持一致。
When will the train arrive at the railway station? He asked me.
→ He asked me when the train would arrive at the railway station. 他問火車什么時候到達(dá)火車站。
【注意】特殊疑問句變?yōu)橘e語從句后，句末用問號還是用句號完全取決于主句的句式：如主句為陳述句、祈使句，句末就用句號；如主句是疑問句，句末就用問號。
考點探究：
I don’t know when the concert will start tonight. 我不知道 音樂會今晚什么時候開始。
Do you know when the concert will start tonight? 你知道音樂會今晚什么時候開始？
要素三： 特殊疑問句在賓語從句中，其語序上要改為陳述句語序。
Which subject do you like best? He asked me. → He asked me which subject I liked best.
他問我最喜歡哪門學(xué)科。
【溫馨提示】疑問句中主語之前的助動詞若是 do／does ／did，變?yōu)橘e語從句時，要先將其去掉，謂語動詞再根據(jù)時態(tài)作相應(yīng)的變化。
Why did you come to the party late yesterday? Can you tell me?
→ Can you tell me why you came to the party late yesterday?
你能告訴我你昨天為什么參加晚會遲到了？
要素四：特殊疑問詞在句中作主語，變?yōu)橘e語從句時語序不變（時態(tài)應(yīng)作相應(yīng)變化）。
Who can answer the question? The teacher asked.
→ The teacher asked who could answer the question. 老師問誰能回答
這個問題。
要素五：特殊疑問句在賓語從句中，要是主從句人稱一致，一般可將賓語從句復(fù)合句改為簡單句。如：
I wonder how I can send an e-mail to you.
→ I wonder how to send an e-mail to you. 我想知道如何給你發(fā)個電子郵件。
賓語從句(四)
一、賓語從句中的時態(tài)
主句中的謂語動詞是一般現(xiàn)在時，賓語從句中的時態(tài)不受影響。主句中的謂語動詞是一般過去時，賓語從句則使用相應(yīng)的過去時態(tài)。
e.g. I think that I can sell newspapers.
我想我可以賣報紙。
I think I should have a talk with her.
我想我應(yīng)該和她談一談。
I heard you had a bad cold. 我聽說你得了重感冒。
【注意】1.如果賓語從句所表達(dá)的內(nèi)容是客觀真理和客觀事實，從句中動詞的時態(tài)不受主句中謂語動詞時態(tài)的限制。
e.g. The teacher said that the earth moves round the sun.老師說地球繞著太陽轉(zhuǎn)。
2.當(dāng)動詞所表示的狀態(tài)或動作在引述時仍在繼續(xù)，從句中動詞的時態(tài)不受主句中謂語動詞時態(tài)的限制。
e.g. She also saidmany famous models are going there to model the clothes.
她還說很多名模將會去那里進(jìn)行時裝表演。
She said that the show starts at 10:30 tomorrow morning. 她說時裝秀明早十點半開始。
He said he is forty. 他說他四十歲了。
二、學(xué)習(xí)賓語從句還應(yīng)注意以下幾點
1.當(dāng)賓語從句跟在動詞think, believe, suppose，expect等表示想，相信，認(rèn)為等的動詞后邊時，如果從句是否定含義，則不用否定形式，而將主句謂語動詞think等變?yōu)榉穸ㄐ问剑捶穸ㄇ耙啤?/p>
e.g. I don’t think you are right. 我想你是不對的。
I don’t believe he can finish the work on time.
我認(rèn)為他不能按時完成工作。
2.在think, believe, imagine, suppose, guess, hope 等動詞以及I’m afraid 等后，可用so代替一個肯定的賓語從句，用not代替一個否定的賓語從句。
e.g. —Do you believe he will come? 你相信他會來嗎？
—I believe so. 我相信會。
—I don’t believe so. (或I believe not.) 我相信不會。
3.許多帶復(fù)合賓語的句子中，that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句經(jīng)常移到句子后面，而且用it作形式賓語。
e.g. We think it wrong that he told a lie to everyone.我們認(rèn)為他對每一個人都說謊是錯誤的。
We thought it a pity that she missed the chance.我們認(rèn)為她錯過這個機(jī)會是一個遺憾。
